an agreement between Teacher Universe (TU) and California
State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB), candidates who are enrolled
in a Teacher Universe IntegrateOnline Annual License can use their
coursework and Integrate Projects to apply for graduate credits
from the Office of Distributed Learning and Extended Education at
CSUMB (http://extendeded.csumb.edu/index.htm)

Who is eligible to apply?
Any candidate who is enrolled in the Teacher Universe IntegrateOnline
Annual License and completes all application requirements is eligible
for graduate credit. Click

How many credits can I apply for?
Completing the appropriate hours of IntegrateOnline coursework,
an Integrate Project, and 3 corresponding essays can earn you 3
graduate credits.

How and when can I register?
1. Enroll in a Teacher Universe IntegrateOnline Annual License:

2. Complete the CSUMB registration process
(http://extendeded.csumb.edu/EEregistration.htm),

CSUMB/TU registration and submission deadlines for 2003
are:
Summer 2003
--Registration and payment: May 1, 2003 through June 15, 2003
--Coursework must completed and submitted by: June 27, 2003
Fall 2003
--Registration and payment: August 2, 2003 through August 25, 2003
--Coursework must completed and submitted by: December 18, 2003
What are the application requirements?
You must complete the following 45 hours of requirements in order
for CSUMB to evaluate your portfolio, and for you to be eligible
to receive 3 graduate credits.
• Teacher Universe IntegrateOnline courses of your choice
(25-30 hours)
• Teacher Universe AssessOnline Full Diagnostic and Post Assessments
(3 hours)
• 1 Integrate Project, including a technology-rich lesson
plan and 3 sample student projects (10-12 hours)
• 3 Reflective Essays (3-6 hours)
How do I complete and submit my application for evaluation?
Using the Teacher Universe Professional Development Portfolio, you
will assemble and submit your application requirements to CSUMB.

Is my application secure?
Only you, the evaluation team from CSUMB and TU, and any designated
administrators from your school or district will have access to
your online Portfolio materials.
How and when will my application be evaluated?
CSUMB faculty evaluate credit applications based on the above schedule,
and grant credit to those candidates who have successfully met all
the course requirements. Additional evaluation sessions will be
added as necessary depending on candidate volumes.
When will I learn my results?
Grades (CR/NC) are usually posted to a BANNER web within 1 month
after the end of the semester. You can request official transcripts
by submitting a transcript request form with a small fee to CSUMB's
Office of Admissions and Records.
